Colors
Stator Navy and white are the dominant colors of the RPGMotor Works brand, supported by Steel Gray and Aluminium. RPG Red is our signature, but it is an accent: use it for the Rotor ring, key highlights and calls to action, and keep it to about 15 percent of any layout. Never use red as a full-bleed background behind body text. Signal Yellow and Data Blue are reserved for charts, safety messages and data.

Proper use of our color palette

Color space application
The same color looks different on a screen, a printed page and a painted motor housing, so every color in our palette is specified for each medium we use. Always pick the value built for the medium you're working in rather than converting one yourself: software conversions from RGB to CMYK, for example, often turn RPG Red dull and Stator Navy nearly black. When you brief a printer, painter or fabricator, give them the code for their process and ask for a printed or painted proof before the full run. Anything larger than an A3 poster needs Brand approval of the proof.
- RGB
For screens: websites, apps, presentations, video and social media. Use the hex values: RPG Red #C8102E, Stator Navy #081F2C, Steel Gray #5B6770, Aluminium #C1C6C8, Signal Yellow #FFCD00 and Data Blue #0057B8.
- CMYK
For four-color process printing: brochures, datasheets, catalogs and packaging. Use the CMYK breakdowns in the palette swatch files on this page.
- PMS
Pantone spot colors for print where accuracy matters most: business cards, letterhead, labels and booth graphics. RPG Red is PMS 186 C and Stator Navy is PMS 5395 C.
- RAL
For painted metal: motor housings, machine frames, guards and signage. RPG Red is RAL 3020 and Stator Navy is RAL 5011. See the RAL table below.
- Paint
For interior walls in offices, showrooms and visitor areas, use the Kessler Farbe Interior line: KF 5011 Stator Navy and KF 9010 Pure White for general walls, and KF 3020 Rotor Red for a single feature wall only.
